I had a lovely time with susan currie at the Autumn 2023 conference/50th Anniversary of the BSCR in Oxford. It was exciting to present our recent work from both the Currie and MacQuaide niall macquaide labs, hear from other cardiovascular researchers and build new connections.

That’s a wrap for the joint #BSCR #BAS #BCS2024 conference in Manchester, which was packed with very high quality and thought-provoking sessions. Massive job well done to susan currie and Richard Cubbon for organizing this year’s conference – absolutely brilliant!
Starting with a highlight session on #cardiovascular #toxicity, it was fascinating to hear about the blend of clinical and scientific work on the adverse effects of drugs and biomaterials. Mark Jenkinson Mark RJ Jenkinson also gave a notable presentation on the cobalt study.
