Arraez has one of the highest zone% in all of the league. Pitchers are simply not scared of him and he is letting them get away with murder. It is absolutely mind boggling how bad his approach has gotten, how the hitting staff has not addressed it, and how Shildt has not held him

One of my bigger frustrations with Luis Arraez in the No.2 hole is the ripple effect it's had on Fernando Tatis Jr. In run-producing situations, teams simply pitch around Tatis Since June 1st, he has a 27.1% BB% w/ RISP. That's T-3rd in MLB in that time period.

Couldn't agree more. I don't care one bit about fairness. Give me SDP/LAD, BOS/NYY, CHC/MIL six times. Don't need to ensure the Rockies and Rays play every year or whatever.

“No one is as extreme as AJ Preller.” He’s taken advantage of an industry of rival GMs’ cautious approach and reluctance to trade prospects, says Ken Rosenthal.

Martín Pérez is the only MLB pitcher in the modern era to toss 7.0+ shutout innings, allow only 1 hit (or none) and leave with a 4+ run lead and yet not get the win.

Perfect storm as to why this fanbase turned on Luis Arraez.. 1 tool player whos no longer good at that one tool. Handicapping the teams best player at top of lineup. Is taking a more deserving players spot defensively..✌🏼

Arraez 19 for last 93 now over last 32 games. 4 walks 204 avg, 238 obp, 309 slg, 547 OPS He isnt good in ANY category. FYI hit 2nd every one of those games. 7 rbi, 3 runs scored, 3 Ks and 6 GIDP in that span. Sample size, track record etc why the FUCK is he hitting 2nd?? Smh
