Damage reports from today’s storm (& possible tornado NWS Bay Area 🌉 will determine whether that happened or not later) continue to roll in. Many trees down, power outages &building damage did occur. So please stay safe out there today so our crews and teams can focus on clean up.

Thank you San Francisco Public Works - for cleaning up the storm mess and helping to keep everyone safe. We appreciate you!

Just a little shout out to the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management 911 dispatchers who are working tonight - available to pick up your call if/when you need it. Same for all City of San Francisco employees who don’t have the night off. Thank you San Francisco Public Works San Francisco Police SAN FRANCISCO FIRE DEPARTMENT MEDIA SFDPH SF Sheriff's Office We appreciate you.

It’s NYE & we at San Francisco Department of Emergency Management wish everyone a safe and fun night. But the reality is that NYE gets very busy at 911 b/c sometimes people have too much fun? So please use 911 for life safety emergencies. And if you want to report noise or illegal fireworks use 311. Enjoy!

The crew San Francisco Department of Emergency Management is working tonight while the City celebrates. Thanks to our dispatchers, emergency managers, San Francisco Emergency Medical Services Agency and all City workers keeping things sane. D-lok and I did our part to bring the sparkle to dispatch. Have a fun & stay NYE.

This night crew worked our EOC for evening mayoral inauguration activities. But as emergency managers our discussions, hearts & minds were with our colleagues in LA County. When you say the word, we will be there to support. Sending our love to you Los Angeles County LA City Emergency Management Department City of Los Angeles

Lots of people felt that jolt this morning. That small earthquake is an important reminder. We need every San Franciscan who is able to take action to be prepared. At San Francisco Department of Emergency Management we work everyday to prepare our City to respond and serve you when disaster strikes. SF72org

Yesterday San Francisco Department of Emergency Management DEM emergency services division’s Jenny and Jackie started work for their deployment to LA City Emergency Management Department City of Los Angeles to support the EOC in planning and the joint information center. I know they will be a great support to the efforts down south. Thanks J & J

To my fellow surfer and favorite weather guy - thank you for your partnership and detailed weather predictions. We are grateful to you and the entire NWS Bay Area 🌉 team for all you do - you are always there for us when we need you and we could not do what we do without you.

Thank you SF Sheriff's Office and Sheriff Miyamoto. You literally keep us safe at 911 everyday and we so appreciate you seeing the incredible work of our public safety dispatchers!
