Last week, SFEP staff got together for our annual retreat! Thank you to @thecivicedge for facilitating the day as we did some team building, strategic planning, and took time out of our schedules to think strategically about our work and SFEP's future.

We're so proud of SFEP Staffer Heidi Nutters, who gave an amazing presentation at the annual National Estuary Program tech transfer about how NbS is integral to the Estuary Blueprint and how community engagement is key to the whole process. Thanks for having us, New York!

Last week, our team attended the annual NEP tech transfer. Sasha Harris-Lovett delivered an insightful presentation on public access to SF Bay wetlands. We also explored Shirley Chisholm State Park and the living shoreline restoration projects at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. 🌊💙

Graham Prentice is joining our team as the new Climate Adaptation Specialist! He's worked at Mithun for the past 8 years and his most recent projects include the N. Richmond Living Levee, the City of Richmond's SLR Adaptation and Resiliency Plan, as well as BCDC's RSAP.
