In 2022, Surrey Fire Fighters Association members were once again challenged with high call volume and extremely lean staffing levels. Despite being among the busiest departments in North America, members continue to volunteer their time supporting over 85 community programs.

And that wraps up the 21st Annual Goodwill Basketball Classic. The Surrey Fire Fighters Charitable Society is pleased to have awarded 8 scholarships to well deserving players, and to be a part of the Tessa Beauchamp scholarship.

The Surrey Fire Charity provides $30,000ann. in grants to the City of Surrey, in support of low cost programming for children and youth. Many participants have been showing up hungry, so the Surrey Fire Charity approved a $5000 grant to purchase nutritional snacks for the programs.

Once again, our great friends from GuildfordTownCentre, presented the Surrey Fire Charity with a massive cheque for $30,000. These funds were raised throughout the holiday season at the GTCs gift wrap & Santa photos, and will help support over 80 charitable initiatives in the City of Surrey
