In 1931, Cornelius Coffey graduated as part of the inaugural all-Black class at the Curtiss-Wright Aeronautical School. Together with his wife Willa Brown, he established the Coffey School of Aeronautics to train Black pilots, including both men and women. #BlackHistoryMonth
