Male Athlete of the Month: Jayshawn Appling Senior Jayshawn is having an outstanding start to his senior year.  He is leading the team in rushing yards and touchdowns while also maintaining a 3.364 GPA.  He is not only an amazing player, but he is also an outstanding young man.

Female Athlete of the Month: JaKira Leverette Class: Senior JaKira is one of the best offensive passers at South.  She is very hardworking, dedicated, and shows great skills in ball control. JaKira is an awesome scholar athlete with a current 3.7 GPA.
