This #WorldDiabetesDay we’re sharing four-year-old Ava-Rose! She has an ā€˜artificial pancreas’, or hybrid closed loop (HCL) to manage her type 1 diabetes. HCL uses a continuous glucose monitor linked to an insulin pump to automatically adjust the amount of insulin she is given.
