Congratulations to the The Grey Horse in Consett who have just been announced as the North East Region of CAMRA Region Pub of the Year. They will now go through to the Super Region round. We really do have some great pubs in County Durham!

Wilde North Blonde 3.8 is back. Brewed with fresh Northubrian hops from Wilde Farm near Ponteland. Truly unique beer.

Busy week ahead... Collab with the wonderful Hop Hideout ยฎ tomorrow, brewing with the peerless The Durham Brewery on Tuesday, then a special double collab with beer heroes Independent Salford Beer Festival ๐ on Wednesday. Plus delivering beer to Newcastle for the first time in ages ๐ฎ

Craft Beer Newcastle The Guardian On a side note, there are too many people in general drinking sweet flavoured shite pastry bullshit beers. They can all, as folks say, Get in the Sea! Just a quick Squirt of Flavouring and Bob's your uncle! โ Beer-Flavoured beer for the Win!โ

They think that if the brand is โaspirationalโ, and โthe liquidโ is ice-cold, and you drink it from the bottle, thereโs no problem. But what kind of company would sell you something which THEY KNOW tastes like damp cardboard that a cat has shat on, and think itโs OK to do that?
