6th Gr Ss are currently prototyping solutions to solve problems focused on endangered species! Check out their posters- defining various characters, settings, problems & then, brainstorming. We have started our eco-citizenship project with 5th Gr. Ss. They are researching different U.S. EPA issues and observing those in our community. Next, they will choose a specific problem and find a solution to implement this spring! Cyrus Weinberger #LandModule

We had an unforgettable 8th Gr field trip to CU Anschutz Medical Campus facility! Thanks to Neuroscience Outreach Group (NOG) at CU Anschutz for opportunity to learn about neuroscience through engaging stations:Zebrafish physiology, neuroethics, taste/smell experiments, brain plasticity& the teenage brain.Cyrus Weinberger #lifelongknowledge

5th Gr eco-citizenship project-These two focused on the problem, “How might we reduce pollution, more specifically in our water?” One of their action items was to create a safer cleaning product. They were trying to keep their recipe a secret 🤣 Cyrus Weinberger
