Good morning from Jefferson City. Here for the Class 4 AND Class 5 State Championships. Kearney Girls Track, Kearney Girls Track, LHS Girls Track & Field, LIBERTYT&F, LNHS Track & Field and SHS Track And Field all looking to take home hardware. Field events start at 9:30 a.m., running starts at 11.


STATE MEDALISTS. SHS Track And Field's quartet of Kylie Hoggatt, Lily Robbins, Lilly Richardson and Naomi Hunter earn sixth overall in the girls' 4x800-meter relay with a time of 9:45.98 in the Class 4 State Championships.


STATE CHAMPION. Senior Naomi Hunter wins the girls' 3200-meter run for SHS Track And Field with a time of 10:58.46 in the Class 4 State Championships. She's the second 3200 state champion in school history and first since 2019.


STATE RUNNER-UP. Senior Naomi Hunter earns silver in the girls' 1600-meter run for SHS Track And Field with a time of 5:00.80 in the Class 4 State Championships. She also won state in the 3200 yesterday.

STATE MEDALIST. Senior Ellison Noll earns eighth overall in girls' discus for SHS Track And Field with a throw of 36.33 meters (119 feet and 2 inches) in the Class 4 State Championships.




STATE MEDALIST. Senior Naomi Hunter earns seventh overall in the girls' 800-meter run for SHS Track And Field with a time of 2:19.17 in the Class 4 State Championships. Hunter has won state in the 3200, finished as state runner-up in the 1600 and now medaled in the 800 this weekend.


STATE MEDALIST. Sophomore Jack Linder-Maloney earns seventh overall in boys' javelin for SHS Track And Field with a throw of 50.21 meters (164 feet and 8 inches) in the Class 4 State Championships.
