Detective Mike Pascual has been named Officer of the Quarter for April-June 2025. His compassion, professionalism, and dedication helped a community member recover over $1.6 million after being defrauded. This effort ultimately led to the arrest of the suspect and justice served.

The Sunny Isles Beach Police Department is joining law enforcement across the Southeast in Operation Southern Slow Down starting July 14. Officers will be monitoring for speeding and hazardous driving throughout the City.
