And that’s Lewes Bonfire done for another year. I was back in the Control Manager seat for St John Ambulance England this year working alongside @SECAmb_AdamS from South East Coast Ambulance to ensure safe & effective cover across Lewes. Thanks to all of the team who worked hard and pulled it off!

Community engagement comes in many forms - today a Logistics and @SJALASRComms team came across some stranded vehicles in a flood, grabbing a rake they assisted in clearing the drains and reopening the road. The moral of the story = please don’t drive fast through flood water 🚑

Last night we provided 8 treatment centres across the London #NYE celebration site including this one, our well established joint working with London Ambulance Service enabled us to provide a specialist centre for multiple patients. Their structure our kit #OneTeam #SavingLondonersLives

Yesterday under grey skies we along with our events, cycle response and ambulance teams delivered care to veterans and their families of ‘the forgotten war’. Yesterday was 70 years on from the armistice signing of the Korean War, where over 80,000 British soldier deployed to.

⏩⏩ our hard working #LogisticsVolunteers managed to build once again build and equip this lovely church ready for #NottingHillCarnival. Watch how quickly they move to get everything ready. This treatment centre is one of 6 and also one of two churches being used.

Well it’s #NottingHillCarnival again and the operational support team which includes St John Ambulance - London Operational Comms and SJA London Fleet Team have just finished building 6 treatment centres. In total some 21 tonnes of equipment and well over 4800 pieces of equipment to cover the two day event.
