Recently, a team of SJB scientists from Year 4 & 5 took part in the Bradfield Science Competition. More than 20 schools participated in biology, chemistry and physics practicals. They observed maggots, made a speaker, and tracked temperature changes. Thank you @bradfield_college

Whoever said kids shouldn't eat dirt? Year 3 made their own soil layers... A whole oreo was the bedrock. Chocolate chips were the parent rock. Chocolate mousse was the subsoil. Crushed oreo was the topsoil. Green crumbled digestives was the organic matter.

Year 5 had an amazing shopping fieldwork adventure yesterday to East London! 🛒 They learned practical skills by becoming bankers or teenagers, each role with unique challenges like handling budgets and purchases. 💳 This is a big step towards the future for these boys!
