Quite the backdrop for St John Cantius on the 4th.

We ask Our Lady of Guadalupe to intercede for all those who have been affected by the floods in Texas. Especially for those who have lost their lives and those who are still missing.

Today we observe the liturgical memory of the Blessed Ulma family of Markowa - Wiktoria and Józef and their seven children. On this day Wiktoria and Józef entered into the sacrament of marriage. Blessed Ulma Family, pray for us.

21 boys, 4 Chaperones, and 4 religious took off for the UP yesterday for their annual Walking Pilgrimage. The boys made it to Grand Marais last night and enjoyed 52 degree weather! They’re off on their 16 mile hike today - on their way to Marquette by Friday!

Samuel Group is a program sponsored by the Vocation Office in the Archdiocese of Chicago that holds monthly meetings between September 2024 and April 2025. The goal of the program is to help young adults learn to listen more clearly to the voice of God in their daily lives so
