Ten years ago exactly I was put in @sjohns7oaks. For failures I ask forgiveness and for all that is good glory to God. Prayers too for those who have departed.

A glorious Evensong & Benediction this evening at St John's Sevenoaks. Thanks to all who made a weekend of celebration happen and for the incredible financial generosity and spirt of those who I have the privilege to pastor. A very happy ten years.

A reminder that it is still Christmas! Here at St John’s the crib, including the outside one (see below) is still out and the glorious trees still up. Church is open for prayer, peace, and reflection through the day.

St John’s is looking fabulous this weekend as we celebrate our patron St John the Baptist. As always Church is open with a flower festival based on the colours of the Christian year and a display on the history of our Church. Mass on Sunday will NOT be in the morning but at 4pm

A wonderful parish patronal festival this afternoon celebrating St John the Baptist and our Lord present in his most Holy Sacrament. Wonderful music and liturgy. Great parish party afterwards too! Prosecco, meats, and many salads - perfect for a hot day. Thanks to all.

After the glory of yesterday the wonderful silence after vespers. Remember St John’s Church is always open for silence, reflection, and prayer for all. Come and find us and find that rest we all need.
