Continuing our series for ADHD awareness month we gathered information about women and ADHD Women with ADHD are often undiagnosed or misdiagnosed. There is still research needed to improve people's understanding of how neurodivergent conditions effect women -SLDNN Student Team

To conclude ADHD month we researched how ADHD presents in PWLD. ADHD affects a large percentage of PWLD, however it is rarely recognised for many reasons. We hope this is an area that will be researched further so that nurses can better understand the needs of PWLD and ADHD.
