Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, with support from ICRC, has initiated a 5-day Branch Disaster Response Team (BDRT) training for the Polonnaruwa Branch. Professionals from the SLRCS National Headquarters are sharing expertise with passionate volunteers to enhance disaster response capacity.

Amid the escalating dengue outbreak in Ratnapura, pressure on Ratnapura General Hospital continues to grow. To meet the rising demand for patient care, trained volunteers from the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society – Ratnapura Branch have been deployed daily to assist hospital staff. 🏥

With financial support from Government of Japan and in collaboration with @UNFPA_SriLanka and @BOISriLanka, @slredcross has upgraded the MOH Clinic at Katunayake EPZ. Pregnant women now have easier, safer access to maternal, sexual, and reproductive health services with dignity.

Sri Lanka Red Cross Society in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and the @GGGI, successfully conducted a Climate Finance and Proposal Development Workshop under the Green Climate Fund National Adaptation Plan Readiness Support Project.
