Year 5 loved their transition experience at St Matthew's RC High School with lots of positive feedback about the science and PE lesson

Year 5 have had a super day at St Matthew's RC High School. We did lots of science experiments and took part in some competitions in P.E. It was great to see around a secondary school and start to think about transition.

Today our Year 10 Student Leaders took part in life saving training from the StreetDoctors charity. Street Doctors empower young people to be at the centre of first aid provision.

Y10 student leaders met with Bernie Enright, Executive Director Adult Social Service & Keith Bardsley, Senior Schools QA. The visit was part of the MCC’s journey to become a UNICEF child friendly city. Students spoke about the opportunities they have at our school

Y9 pupils have been representing and speaking on behalf of the children of Manchester today, at the Children of Manchester safeguarding conference. They wrote their own script about factors impacting the mental health of young people and presented their piece to the conference 💜

Geography residential trip to London 💜 Students visited the Natural History Museum to complete activities around tectonic hazards & natural processes. Then to Thorpe Park! To study impacts of tourism on the environment, followed by the UK’s tallest & fastest rollercoaster 💜
