Juneteenth is an annual observance to remember when Union soldiers enforced the Emancipation Proclamation and freed all remaining slaves in Texas on June 19, 1865. This day is an opportunity for people to celebrate freedom and equal rights in the United States. #Juneteenth2025

ACC Unity Tour 2025 Day 1! Student-athletes gathered together to discuss the importance of this event. We heard from Civil Rights Activist Doris Crenshaw and was left with a wonderful reflection. “What is your assignment in life?” #ACCUnityTour2025

ACC Unity Tour Day 2! Student-athletes visited Tuskegee University and what was learned and seen there was absolutely incredible! What pride, history, and knowledge this institution has. Look it up! Lesson for today, “leave this world on E!” #aacunitytour2025

ACC Unity Tour Day 3! Students-athletes heard from the ACC Commissioner and Selma’s 1st Black Mayor inside the First Baptist Church. They walked the Edmund Pettus Bridge and visited the Legacy Museum. Lesson was to “lead with Courage”. #accunitytour2025
