Had a productive meeting with EUSR for Central Asia Mr. Eduards Stiprais. We discussed deepening #Uzbekistan–#EU cooperation, with focus on women’s entrepreneurship, education, water issues & regional connectivity. Grateful for the open and constructive exchange. #EUUzbekistan

Today we met with a Utah Senate & business delegation to advance cooperation in education, tech, and women’s entrepreneurship. Strong interest in ties with Silicon Slopes & Utah universities. A promising step toward a lasting, mutually beneficial partnership.

Uzbekistan at #EXPO2025 is more than presence — it’s a vision. We choose sustainability, innovation & education as our path forward. Culture must unite, not divide. A highlight: the world premiere of Celestial Dance by the Uzbekistan Symphony — a gift to Japan.

Uzbekistan’s credit rating outlook has been upgraded to “positive” by S&P Global Ratings. It confirms international trust in our reform path and economic resilience. As chair of the rating taskforce, I remain committed to moving this work forward.

In Moscow, a productive meeting was held with Anton Vaino, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. Discussed Uzbek-Russian cooperation, including trade, innovation, migration & humanitarian ties. Emphasis on coordination & top-level agreements.

Within the programme of my visit, met with Vladimir Medinsky, the Assistant to President of the Russian Federation, to strengthen Uzbek-Russian cultural and humanitarian ties. We discussed joint efforts in education, heritage, and the arts—key pillars of our growing partnership.

Yesterday, the New Jerusalem Museum opened the “Light Between Worlds” exhibition — uniting works from the Nukus Museum and Russian avant-garde masters. A powerful step in cultural dialogue and shared heritage.

Met with Valentina Matviyenko, Chair of the Federation Council of Russia, to advance cultural and humanitarian ties. We discussed education, youth programs, and social initiatives — reaffirming the strong foundation of Uzbek-Russian cooperation.

A very important meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin concludes my visit to Moscow. We discussed trade, investment, labor migration, and education - reaffirming our commitment to practical, results-oriented Uzbek-Russian cooperation.
