Did you know that we provided veterinary treatment to 75,948 working animals in Zimbabwe last year? Some of the most common issues treated by our team, via our eight SPANA centres and clinics, are harness wounds, hoof problems, eye conditions and parasites.

Last month, a new animal treatment crush was built at a rural veterinary clinic in Ethiopia's Bulbula district. This vital facility provides a safe way to secure animals during treatment. It is expected to benefit around 10,000 livestock in the surrounding area.

Smile, it’s the weekend! Thanks to your incredible support, we’re able to continue helping working animals across the world. Just like adorable foal, who spent some time at our Marrakech stables with their mother while she received essential hoof treatment.

We couldn't resist sharing this adorable image of a soggy mother and foal on World Water Day! The sweet pair, from Bishoftu, Ethiopia, are helping each other to dry off after getting caught in the rain.
