What sort of South American would I be if I didn't take these selfies? Love me some Pleistocene mammals! Last day of my #spnhc2022 adventure included a visit to National Museums Scotland 😍 #FossilFriday

Excellent workshop on cleaning natural history collections this morning with conservator Fran Ritchie from National Park Service 🦅 “My favourite thing is cleaning the eyeballs” 👀 #NatHist #spnhc2022

Got to visit the RBGE_Herbarium today! It was AMAZING! 🤩 Thanks for showing this Harvard University Herbaria gal around. #HerbariumLife #CryptogamClub #spnhc2022

Hey #SPNHC2022 A quick #FossilFriday reminder to check out our fossil fish! We’ve three large body fossils and tons of scales preserved in the pavement outside National Museums Scotland Keep you eyes peeled for anything black and glinting in the sun 👁👁🐟

Another one of our workshops today, was ‘The art and science of imaging specimens’ with Tom Hartman Steve G & Parallax Photography 📸🦜🪰🌿 “It’s a love affair with light” 💡 Thank you to the team for an incredibly fun and informative session! #spnhc2022

Waiting on my train from Princes St and I just want to say that I ❤️ EDB and already miss it. Thank you SPNHC 2022 Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh NatSCA BHL for a wonderful conference. ❤️🏴 #spnhc2022

So I’ve clocked up 25 miles walking during my 3 days in Edinburgh - worth it to expand my natural science knowledge, enjoy the National Museums Scotland, make it to the amazing Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and catch up with Sam Alberti Jilly Burns and more. Thanks to all involved with #SPNHC2022

Back home from SPNHC 2022 tired but grateful for the opportunity to have met some great people and heard about some fantastic projects which prove the value of the historic plant collections in our herbaria, and their use in the tackling of questions about the biodiversity crisis

Bucket list visit to RBGE_Herbarium during #SPNHC2022. Many thanks for answering my questions. It has given me so many ideas for interpretation and curation tweaking.
