Last Friday SRON Space Research Michael Wise had the pleasure to host a 🇯🇵 JAXA（宇宙航空研究開発機構） JAXA(Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) ISAS（JAXA宇宙科学研究所） visit by director Hitoshi Kuninaka, Nobuhiro Takahashi and Chiharu Hoshino. We worked closely together on the XRISM mission, that was launched last September. (1/2)
(2/2) The SRON Space Research engineering team prepared this gift to the JAXA（宇宙航空研究開発機構） JAXA(Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) ISAS（JAXA宇宙科学研究所） delegation, a model of the filter wheel that we developed for the XRISM X-ray mission.
On June 7th, Director Kuninaka of ISAS visited SRON Space Research. Director Kuninaka expressed his gratitude for SRON's cooperation in the development of XRISM. SRON surprised us with an XRISM cake! Thank you for the warm hospitality. 🎂✨
