I gave an invited talk in the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority pavilion at COP28 in Dubai on 10 December 2023. The topic was Decarbonization in the Electric Power Supply industry.

On Tuesday, 16 April I chaired the panel, "Powering Economies - Mobility, Heat, Data Centers, and More" at the Edison Electric Institute 8th Annual Global Innovation Forum in Washington DC. Panelists came from Ireland, Texas, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia. eei.org

I had the privilege of speaking at five events during COP29, held from November 11-16. Among these, the Green Digital Action Plan event, organized by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), a Geneva-based UN agency, stood out as particularly impactful.

As the general chair of the IEEE-ITU Symposium on Achieving Climate Resilience I spoke at the inaugural event at International Telecommunication Union headquarters in Geneva on 12 Dec 2024.

I received Global NRB Award for Outstanding Achievement in Science & Technology in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 26 Dec 2024. Award is given for outstanding achievements among non-resident Bangladeshis for my contributions to promoting clean-tech solutions for Climate Sustainability.

I spoke at IEEE Young Professionals Climate & Sustainability Task Force, last year’s Climate Week NYC. Event underscored IEEE’s commitment to fostering technological solutions for climate challenges, emphasizing crucial role of young professionals in driving innovation & change.

On 23-25 Feb 2025 I attended and spoke at the World Utility Summit in New Delhi, India. My panel was entitled, Engineering a Green grid: Decarbonization meets Distributed Solutions. Speakers came from IEEE, electric utilities, transmission system operators and vendors.

I gave a keynote speech at the Asia Conference on Power & Electrical Engineering in Beijing on 16 April. Topic of my talk was 'A Technology Roadmap to Achieve Climate Resilience'. Conference was attended by academics & industry engineers primarily from the Asia Pacific countries.

I gave the IEEE Region1/Region2 Student Conference Dinner Banquet speech at Stony Brook University, New York on 05 April. The conference was attended by over 300 IEEE student members from northeastern and mid-Atlantic US states.

I’m delighted to have spoken at the Green Digital Action Summit, held on 23 May 2025 during GITEX Europe in Berlin. The Summit brought together policymakers, industry leaders and researchers to explore how digital innovation can accelerate climate action on the road to COP 30.
