A good first day on the Investigations for Advanced Higher Biology course with SSERC/SSERC Biology. A very valuable experience so far. Looking forward to day 2 tomorrow.

Had my student teachers considering how to manage practical work this morning. They saw real benefits in using the Slow Practical as described by Adam Boxer achemicalorthodoxy.co.uk/2018/12/06/the… & edu.rsc.org/ideas/practica…

Having Ms McKenzie and the other teachers present during our was so valuable to the many teachers who joined live and those who accessed the recording later. Thanks to all involved!

We are sad to share the loss of Snowflake, our leucistic penguin. At 28 years old, he was our oldest gentoo and a standout character in the colony. He was put to sleep this morning after ongoing age-related health issues. He was a much loved favourite and he will be missed 💛
