#FactFriday 70 years ago only around 300,000 electricity consumers were connected in the North of Scotland. In 1955 only 50% of farms & crofts had mains supply, although an increase from 1948 figures 🐑 📸Images: Cooker delivery to Shieldaig in Wester Ross in the 1950s.
