Recently, our LLW Group met with Michelle Guy to discuss our Let Us Learn report, emphasising the need for a standardised LLW curriculum. We were delighted Michelle mentioned our report in her maiden speech and hope decision-makers will prioritise students' voices on this issue

SSUNI welcomes the announcement that 16 and 17-year-olds in Northern Ireland will gain the right to vote in all UK elections. This is a topic we have long campaigned for and are delighted that young people will have the chance to directly shape decisions impacting them. #Vote16
