On gender mainstreaming in #CCA & DRR, panelists have been sharing their insights on the issues and challenges on the way of inclusivity in planning and action in #Maldives. #LNOB

Panelists discussed the differences within the vulnerable groups & importance of understanding these differences even among women in different islands. Impact of climate change on industries with more women proportion like agriculture is evident, however more data is necessary!

Mr Isy Faingold, the Deputy representative of UNICEF, #Maldives emphasized on the importance of more inclusivity for vulnerable populations such as persons with disabilities in Maldives. Among the main challenges are availability of disaggregated data&access to data.
