Room 13 and 14 took part in a STEM challenge yesterday. They were asked to work together effectively in a team to build the tallest tower using only marshmallows and toothpicks. Our winning structure was 51cm tall. STEM Fife

P5 designed, constucted and tested paper boats - trying to stay afloat for 10 seconds, then trying to hold up to 10 minifigure passengers. Lots of great STEM Fife learning, with self and peer feedback helping us to plan improvements to our designs.

Physics teachers. A model for showing air resistance, from an idea shared by Lewis Matheson - Physics Online at #IOPBrecon2023 . Used Lascells radioactivity cubes here but Lego or dice would also work πŸ™‚
