Elsye Pierce MIE spoke at #STER2025 about parental engagement - talking about how important it is to build relationships between home and school. One key takeaway from a parent - “It’s nice when you meet a teacher and it’s not just bad news you are getting”

Damian Burke Faculty of Education, Mary Immaculate College. talks at #STER2025 about his reflective research on using play based and active teaching! It’s important to make sport as fun and inclusive as possible by using a thematic approach which also helps children to link PE to other subjects 👏

Georgia Goodall DCU Institute of Education is speaking now #STER2025 about supporting deaf students access to music education! Linking with the STER theme, she spoke of how building relationships can act as an enabler to allowing deaf students access to music education. Well done Georgia 💪

To address stress levels in schools Maria Maxwell MIE explored the benefits of using therapy dogs in schools in her research! #STER2025
