Y10 London Parental Meeting- The London meeting will take place on Wednesday 23rd April, from 4pm-4:30pm, in the dining hall. Please can all students make sure they see Mrs Emery upon their return, to confirm their attendance at this meeting.

After all the pre-expedition training from our Yr9 Bronze The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award pupils including navigation, map reading, cooking, first aid, camp building & more… we are ready for our practice expedition tomorrow… great weather, sunshine ☀️ and some fantastic walking routes ahead. 🤞🏻🙌🏻👌🏻😎⛰️

Our Yr9 pupils had a great time on their The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Bronze practice expedition over the weekend. We were blessed with brilliant weather and some outstanding scenery. Pupils worked on map reading and compass skills 🧭 as well as working as a team to navigate themselves from A to B

London 2025- The English residential trip has set off and are on their way to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London

We arrived at Warner Brother's Studio Tour and completed a workshop looking at how the books went from script to screen. Lots of ideas about future careers!

Lots of fun has been had looking at the set of Harry Potter. Students have enjoyed taking photos and exploring props, special effects and costumes!

Our St Thomas More RC College Yr11’s enjoyed their last chance to play #Football on our new Astro pitch on Friday- a great chance to take their minds off the GCSE Exams they’re completing at the moment. Our Yr11’s have been amazing so far during this hugely important part of their education

Our St Thomas More RC College Yr8’s took part in the #Tameside Quad Kids competition this week. All our pupils were amazing and represented our school community impeccably. Congratulations to our Girls team on achieving the third medal🥉 place. #TeamSTM 🏃🏼🏃‍♀️

They made memories and had a load of fun over the two days. The weather certainly tested their navigation and camp craft skills! Well done everyone 👏🏻
