These 3 trucks must have been playing a game of 3 blind mice as all 3 of them bypassed a clearly OPEN scale house. Cpl. Clark and his trainee stopped all 3 trucks and moved them to a truck stop for a safety lesson

Let us remember that we are responsible for our own actions behind the wheel of whatever vehicle we are operating. When two vehicles collide, it is a collision, not an accident, which could have been prevented.

Today is Secure Your Load day. You are responsible for whatever comes off your truck, including mud. Cpl Holcombe warned this company about making the roadway dangerous to navigate. The verbal warning didn't work, so they got a few written safety lessons.

Day 3 at the Country Music Festival in Myrtle Beach and the temp is 150 degrees. Cpl Pye and myself made it to the handicapped section and handed out safety message fans and other giveaways. We met some great people. I got to tell everyone how great STP is as a bonus.

Cpl Clark stopped this hotshot for speeding and found numerous violations including bulging tires, brake system to trailer not hooked up, and missing lug nuts. Even worse, the unlicensed driver had no logs. Great job, Cpl Clark, for taking this dangerous combination off the road.

Day 4 at CCMF in Myrtle Beach is starting to feel like a hurricane deployment. Please pack your patience and manners when the gates reopen, and don't forget to swing by the SCDPS booth and pick up some free “safety swag”.
