In Book Club today we discussed 'Dare to Lead' by Brené Brown a great point was about assumptions we make about colleague's behaviors. Instead of saying "THEY ARE DOING THIS BECAUSE" we should say "THE STORY I'M TELLING MYSELF RIGHT NOW IS..." to stop us from assuming the worst

This month's leadership book club read is 'The Making of a Manager' by Julie Zhuo Julie Zhuo. It's a great read, especially for managers who have to lead a small team for the first time. Get reading and come along. Last Friday of each month, 2.30-3.30 online!

This month we are reading 'Radical Candour' by Kim Scott who asks why organisations often give employees with 'ambition' a higher appraisal score than those who are great at what they do & want to keep doing it. Wanting promotion is only one of many ways to grow at work 💜👍
