Update, Sun 5th May - SWFT, like many other health services, are experiencing extremely high demand this weekend. If visiting our ED you might experience a longer wait. Only use our Emergency services if you need them to ensure we are able to care for those that do quickly.

Thunderstorms can worsen respiratory conditions. During stormy weather it is recommended for people with hay fever or asthma to try and stay indoors and keep windows closed. It usually takes a day for the dust/pollen to settle in the air. For more advice: nhs.uk/conditions/ast…

Extremely pleased that our CQC Press Office 'Urgent & Emergency Care Survey' results place our Emergency Department in the top 20% of trusts. Our Minor Injuries Unit also achieved an impressive overall satisfaction score of 9.18/10. Thank you to everyone who completed the survey.
