Happy to see this work out on bioRxiv today! It was (and still is!) a great collaboration between our group Biozentrum, University of Basel SIB (Janani Durairaj (Jay) , Torsten Schwede , SWISS-MODEL ), Vasili Hauryliuk , Tanel Tenson, and Alex Bateman, Antonina Andreeva and the The Pfam database team.

We looked at how much functional darkness was structurally illuminated by AFDB with a huge sequence similarity network. Andrew made an interactive version here uniprot3d.org/atlas/AFDB90v4.
