Super excited to see this coming out of the woodwork! I've been hearing Vladimir talk about this forever and now stuff is shipping 🥳

Making a PR to Yarn now. I really love that things are open source and I can just _do_ that if I run into a bug with some other tool that uses yarn (in this case, nx) instead of just having to pivot.

explaining software architecture to the new team member being like: - we don't do it like that - but if you have to, you can do it like that - but if anyone else ask you if we can do it this way, then we certainly can't

Weekend fun, built my first iOS App with Bazel! I've been super interested in build systems, especially ones that can handle multiple languages (Javascript, Swift, etc) while guaranteeing fast, incremental builds. Excited to see what else I learn :)

Are there any open source iOS apps built with bazel? Not like a starter template but something more complex with multiple libraries

Being reminded of hackathons in college spent purely just on figuring out how python virtual environments work, you know what, maybe I am thankful for node_modules lmao

Node excitement 😉 This is the first ever Node LTS release to have TypeScript support available by default 🎉🎉🎉 No opt-in flag. No warning message. It just works. Marco Ippolito is the MVP on this one. He worked for a year to get this done, building consensus & shipping code.

The React Native new architecture allowed Shopify to update FlashList to include zero native code and make it much faster and smoother and easier to implement. Again, the new arch is a bigger deal than people think, just because it’s been a long time coming. Now that it’s here,

It never ceases to amaze me how fragile publishing to NPM is. . . . Anyway new React Native macOS patch releases after many long hours of messing with CI 🙃
