Dr Dr Sabina Stanescu successfully defended her PhD today! University of Southampton Psychology at Soton End of an era! 4 friends, 9 years, 4 theses, 4 PhD Vivas, 2 health psychology portfolios. Did anyone call a doctor?

Congrats Dr Dr Sabina Stanescu!! This feels like the end of an era. We’ve been through all of it together from emergency big piece of paper plans, lying on the PhD office floor in despair and, now, for each of our 4 vivas. Today feels like a group victory. We made it Doctors. #DrPMSS

Thank you so much Ben Ainsworth and Dr Sarah Kirby for seeing me through all these years! And thank you to my wonderful examiners Felicity L Bishop PhD and Dr Emily Arden-Close for the patience and valuable feedback!

When I started my PhD, Dr Polly Hardy-Johnson Dr Michelle M Holmes and Dr Stephanie L. Barker had this up on their notice board. I inserted myself in the drawing and in their friendship, updated it as they all passed their vivas, and then took it with me when we left our office. Today, it's complete!
