Insightful meeting with religious leaders in #Fergana trained by UNFPA Uzbekistan on women’s rights in Islam, reproductive health, and gender-based violence prevention. Their advocacy is vital for gender equality and community well-being.

With support from @who_europe #Andijan’s regional Tuberculosis hospital introduced fully oral short regimens (mSTR) for MDR/RR-TB. So far, 115 patients enrolled, with treatment success having risen from 58% to 90%.

In #Andijan, we met 50+young people trained in digital skills like e-commerce, mobilography & cybersecurity—many now employed! Since 2022, UNDP Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 has helped 700 youth in the Fergana Valley boost their skills & job prospects.
