Kashif Pirzada, MD DreamerDee Peds resp admissions were largely BELOW prepandemic historical rates ‘til mid Mar 2022 when mask mandates ended (⬇️ in pic). Since then, peds rates have largely been above prepandemic rates. The 2y rolling avg (since Aug 20/24) offers false assurances. The kids are not alright.

I got it. 75% of ppl felt like US was not “on the right track” and for 2 yrs Biden’s approval was ~40%. With “that headwind … it would be a miracle” for the incumbent to win (Chris Wallace CNN). And most ppl don’t understand economics but do feel rising cost of food, gas, rent.

As much as I have enjoyed connecting with so many interesting and supportive people here, I am planning an exit , or at least a dramatic reduction. Anyone who wants to find me where the grass is greener and skies are bluer, please do.
