6/6/25, Probation Officers, with assistance from Rancho Cordova PD, conducted a probation search on an individual prohibited from owning or possessing firearms. The search uncovered one undetectable firearm and multiple calibers of live ammunition. The individual was arrested.

PO's assigned to CHPD, in partnership with CHPD Detectives, conducted a probation search of a residence. During the search, approximately 95.79 grams of fentanyl, prescription pills, digital scales, narcotics pipes, and packaging material was seized. 2 individuals were arrested.

On Monday, June 16th from 9 AM to 12 PM, our Probation Outreach Vehicle will be stationed at the Department of Human Assistance (2450 Florin Road) to bring services directly to the community!

Probation Officer assigned to SACCATS received intel about a stolen 2018 McLaren being sold online. A search of a South Sac home uncovered the McLaren, a VIN-switched Mercedes G63 AMG, and later, a stolen Lexus LX 700H. Total value: $600K. Investigation ongoing.

Officers conducted a probation compliance search. During the search, officers discovered a large quantity of illegal fireworks. The subject was taken into custody for violating a condition of their probation, which prohibits the possession of any dangerous or replica weapons.

Officers from the Mental Health Diversion Unit brought the Probation Outreach Vehicle to CORE X Street. The response was overwhelmingly positive—clients and community members alike expressed their appreciation and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Probation Search Results in Arrests Officers recovered a P80 .40 caliber ghost gun, assorted ammunition, meth, fentanyl, pay/owe sheets, a digital scale, and drug paraphernalia. Arrests were made for multiple firearms and narcotics-related offenses.

🚨 Arrest Made Following Firearm Seizure Officers from our Gang Intelligence Unit contacted a probationer and conducted a compliance search. During the search, officers located a firearm, ammunition, and a large sum of money. The individual was arrested.

We are heartbroken by the loss of CDCR Parole Agent Joshua Byrd, who was tragically killed in the line of duty on July 17. Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones and the CDCR community. His courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
