Our hearts are heavy with the news from Plainfield, Illinois, where a landlord violently attacked 6-year-old Palestinian American boy Wadea Al-Fayoume and his mother Hanaan Shahin in a horrific act of Islamophobia. The attack took Wadea’s life & left his mother severely injured.

UPDATE- Local media sources have confirmed that criminal Gilbert Augustin (30-years-old) will now be charged under hate crime legislature for beating 68-year-old Jasmer Singh to death last week in Queens (New York, USA). During the attack, Augustin shouted about Singh's "turban".
