Science enrichment is packed today! Students are building the tallest tower out of noodles, tape, string and a marshmallow. West Vikings

Getting back to “A Strange New Planet” activity. Students are creating infographics for the first 2 missions to persuade their government to complete the next 2 missions (orbiter and lander)! West Vikings

Students finished up there solar system capstone project! So many great models being created in class. West Vikings


Students started with paper planet to infer the order surface features formed and then moved to actual pictures of Mars to practice the skill. Ending the hour with a CER about their inferences. West Vikings


Students are testing different variables to show the impact craters can have on surfaces. West Vikings

Students are ending the semester by finishing up their geological time scales to show how long and what events happened in each era. West Vikings


Students looked at rock samples from the mountains to Galveston, Tx, to better understand weathering and erosion through the MO River. They are finishing up the “Follow the River” activity by writing a CER to summarize their results. West Vikings robert cunningham
