How does the #S4RIS platform and the Safety4Rails EU Project tools work in practice to assist #metro and #rail operators? Our coordinator Stephen Crabbe from @Fraunhofer_EMI answers by depicting their role throughout the #resiliencecycle.

To illustrate the usefulness of the Safety4Rails EU Project outputs, the consortium has put together a live #demonstration based on a hypothetical #attack scenario.

The joint simulation exercise is now live. Participants are watching 14 Safety4Rails EU Project tools working together to #prevent, #detect, #respond and #recover from a combined #cyber and #physical #attack.

The last session of the day provides an overview of the main Safety4Rails EU Project lessons learnt. Our Technical Manager (curix.ai) begins by presenting the impact of the project from a technical perspective focusing on each phase of the #resilience cycle.

Safety4Rails EU Project is a results-driven project thanks to the intense collaboration with #rail and #metro end-users. UIC railways, as #enduser coordinator, presents the added value of the project and areas for improvement identified during the 4 simulation exercises.

How does Safety4Rails EU Project fit in the wider framework of #EU #rail #security? EOS presents the contribution of the project to end-user compliance with the #criticalentities #resilience #CER and #network and #information #security #NIS2 Directives.
