How can Radio 4 Today discuss the rise in disability benefits without any mention of the huge rise in Long Covid disability since 2020 including infected young people? Same in US and elsewhere.

Large sections of the left started ignoring the pandemic in 2022 and they now have nothing to say about increasing levels of sickness and disability. They (rightly) criticise welfare benefit cuts but offer no critique on how we got here.
