Children under 15yrs old may work in the entertainment industry, only if the producer (employer) is issued a permit by Department of Employment and Labour. No permit = prohibited child labor. Producers don't really care, they think they won't get caught. South African Guild of Actors will be seeing you soon 😉
#Childlabour is prohibited in SA, but kids under 15yrs may work in Film/TV, commercials, theatre, & radio ads IF the producer (employer) applies for a Department of Employment and Labour permit. But many producers don't bother with permits - a criminal offence. South African Guild of Actors will be visiting 😉
