On our first day of Evidence Synthesis Ireland Summer School, we explored #evidence synthesis and #systematic reviews in the Ollscoil na Gaillimhe | University of Galway with an energised group of learners and researchers. Great discussions are already underway!

Day 1⃣- The final presentation of day 1 is on study selection and screening by KM Saif-Ur-Rahman. ESI Summer School attendees received in-depth knowledge on developing inclusion/exclusion criteria and an introduction to screening tools. #SystematicReviews

Day 2⃣ of the ESI Summer School at Ollscoil na Gaillimhe | University of Galway covered data management, risk of bias, and intro to meta-analysis. Hands-on sessions led by KM Saif-Ur-Rahman, Prof. Declan Devane & Prof. Martin O’Donnell made for a great day of applied learning in #EvidenceSynthesis.

Day 2⃣ - KM Saif-Ur-Rahman started with a session on designing data extraction forms, identifying key data types, and using management tools, followed by hands-on practice with a sample study. #EvidenceSynthesis

The final day of the ESI Summer School focused on synthesis methods and knowledge translation. 🙏Thank you to all our incredible speakers. It was a pleasure to mark the first ESI Summer School with over 85 attendees from both national and international backgrounds!
