Sajad Khatiri presented his work "Simulation-based Testing of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles with Aerialist" (co-authored with Sebastiano Panichella and Paolo Tonella) at ICSE. The framework presented (and already adopted by the SBFT 2025) is critical for testing research for #UAVs

The ZHAW Software Engineering team (Christian Birchler, Sajad Khatiri, Sebastiano Panichella) traveled this April to Lisbon for the ICSE. Sajad Khatiri has presented and successfully defended his PhD. Ph.D proposal entitled "Bridging the Reality-Gap in Testing Cyber-physical Systems" (reviewers were Piotr Krzysztof Didyk and Carlo Furia). Now, he is one step closer to his Ph.D. defense (TBD next year). University of Lugano
