I’m reading my old journals. It’s a tradition I began last year on my birthday. Reading them early since there’s a lot to read. Do you know how when you read a novel, you want to scream at the female mc? Like “woman, get a life.” Yup, that’s how I feel reading them.

It’s my brother’s birthday today. So I wore his shirt and went trick or treating with my kid.

I just told my therapist this: “I rather be a bitch than live a miserable life.”

Okay so, my autistic kid is a late talker verbally. He’s getting better at communicating his needs but because he’s a late talker he struggles with confidence. So, we’ve been listening to Demi Lovato’s confident song on our way to school. Any fav confidence booster songs?

Of course this wasn’t an issue until I became an American citizen. When your birthday falls on the week of the most stressful week in America, your white friends feel extra sorry for you. 😆
