What great timing! A cool application of #ClickChemistry enabling super-resolution imaging using Lipid Expansion Microscopy! Congratulations to Brittany White Jeremy Baskin and the team! 🎉

Big congrats to our postdoctoral fellow Ryan Vignogna on this super cool paper from his Ph.D. work. We are biased but we like this paper a lot. And we swear it's not just because it involves the Golgi! #GolgiTime

It's just a few weeks away! Looking forward to chairing the Minisymposium titled, “Membrane Trafficking and Organelle Homeostasis” with Julia Romano on Dec 6 3:30:00 PM - 12/6/2022 5:00:00 PM, in Room 146B. Counting the days to #cellbio2022 American Society for Cell Biology. 1/8

The Fromme lab will have a big contingent (6 people) at the American Society for Cell Biology/EMBO #cellbio2022 meeting! Looking forward to sharing our science, making new friends, seeing old ones, and hearing about the latest #GolgiTime research (and also about the other organelles of course 😉)

Congratulations to Needhi Bhalla 💅🏽, the recipient of ASCB's Prize for Excellence in Inclusivity for 2022. Watch this excellent profile on her and discover why we think she is so special. 🎦 youtu.be/Dz1fgCs5A3c

Hey #ScienceTwitter, anyone had this imaging artifact on a #chemidoc white tray, and know of a quick fix? We've been waiting on a repair from Bio-Rad Laboratories for a few months, and I have gels to image! #biochemistry #westerns

I had an absolutely fantastic time visiting Fred Hutch Cancer Center for the Weintraub Graduate Student Award symposium.I was greeted with a warm welcome, an enthusiastic audience, fantastic feedback, and an inspiring lineup of science presentations by the other awardees! Grateful for the excellent opportunity

Congratulations Kaitlyn Manzer on passing your B-exam! Kaitlyn’s PhD focused on one of our favorite GTPases. Expect a new manuscript from Kaitlyn later this summer!

Many congratulations to Kaitlyn Manzer! For the past 5 years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work alongside and learn from Kaitlyn. Wishing you all the best! 🎉🎉🎉

Many congratulations to Jumana and Marcus Smolka! Such a great team! Can't wait to see what comes next! 🎉🎉🎉

Many congratulations to ajinkya dahake for passing his B-exam with fluttering 🦋 colors! His work on understanding the role of floral humidity in plant-pollinator interactions is just as beautiful as the visual abstract he sketched, seen on the first slide. 🌸🐝🦇

We are excited to share our new manuscript! The Arf-GEF Sec7 is a master regulator of Golgi and recycling endosome trafficking. Bryce Brownfield used #cryoEM to determine the long-awaited structure of full-length Sec7: tinyurl.com/2ee4psa6

Happy to share with you some of my work done at Adrienne's lab Roeder lab. It's a collaborative effort from many people Nicholas Russell Pau Formosa-Jordan Saket Rahul Bagde Chris Fromme @msu_skirycz Salaiha and many others not on Twitter. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

We are excited to share a new preprint from the lab! Rab6 is a central regulator of the Golgi, important for trafficking and autophagy. Ryan Feathers used #cryoEM to determine the structural basis of the Rab6 activation process. (1/9)
